Program Outcomes

The Results Are Real.
The Change Is Permanent.

Every student who completes a Voices Still Speaking program leaves with something they carry for the rest of their life — not a certificate, not a workshop credit, but the ability to be heard in any room they walk into. Here is what that looks like in measurable terms.

Questions Worth
Answering Directly

Schools and districts ask these questions. We welcome them — because every one of them has a clear, documented answer.

01

We already have counselors and intervention programs. Why do we need this?

Counselors address mental health. Intervention programs address behavior. Neither is built to develop verbal confidence and structured communication under social pressure. Voices Still Speaking fills a gap that existing resources were not designed to fill — and it does so without pulling from those budgets or replacing those roles.

02

Is this just public speaking? We have a speech class for that.

Speech class serves students who are already willing to speak. This program is built for the ones who are not — students who are under-participatory, hesitant, or struggling with confidence in verbal environments. The students who need this most are rarely the ones enrolled in speech electives.

03

How do we know it actually works? What is the evidence?

In our delivered pilot session, participants self-rated their speaking comfort at an average of 3.5 out of 10 before the program. After one session, that average rose to 7 out of 10 — a 100% increase. Every program includes pre and post assessments, facilitator observation logs, and a written Post-Program Outcome Summary delivered to your organization. The data is yours to keep.

04

We do not have room in the schedule for another program.

The One-Day Intensive fits inside a single class period or afterschool block. The Four-Week program requires one session per week. Delivery is designed for minimal disruption — in-class, small group, or afterschool. We work around your calendar, not the other way around.

05

Why should we bring in an outside organization for something like this?

Because the most effective communication development happens outside the student's daily authority structure. Students speak differently — more honestly and more openly — when the facilitator is not their teacher or administrator. That separation is by design, and it is a core reason the program produces results that in-school programs often cannot.

06

What about students who are not struggling? Is this only for at-risk youth?

Communication development benefits every student — not just those flagged for intervention. The framework is designed for youth who are present and capable but underheard. That describes more students than most schools realize. The quiet student who never raises their hand is not always struggling academically. They are often simply unheard.

What Your Child
Walks Away With

Every parent wants to know their child will be able to speak up for themselves. Here is what this program builds — in specific, observable terms.

Confidence That Transfers

The confidence built in this program does not stay in the room. It follows your child into classrooms, job interviews, college presentations, and every conversation that matters. This is not performance coaching. It is identity development.

The Ability to Be Heard

Many students know exactly what they want to say — they simply cannot get it out under pressure. This program addresses the hesitation directly, through progressive exercises that reduce fear and build the muscle of speaking up, consistently and without apology.

Stronger Peer Relationships

Students who communicate clearly form stronger friendships, navigate conflict better, and build social presence that protects them long-term. The Voices Circle component specifically develops listening discipline and peer respect alongside speaking ability.

Measurable Progress You Can See

Your child's growth is not a feeling — it is documented. Pre and post assessments across six confidence indicators give you a clear before-and-after picture of where your child started and how far they came. You receive that data as a written Outcome Summary.

A Moment They Will Remember

Every program ends with a live speech or personal statement delivered in front of the group. For many students, this is the first time they have ever done something like this. That moment — completing it, hearing themselves — is not something they forget. It becomes proof of what they are capable of.

A Safe Space to Be Imperfect

The program is structured to reduce pressure progressively — not to perform, but to grow. Students are never mocked, never compared, and always heard. That environment of safety is exactly what allows the most hesitant students to take the biggest leaps.

The youth in your programs are present. They show up. What this does is give them the structure to be heard — in classrooms, in community spaces, and in every room they walk into after this program ends.

  • Pre and post assessments delivered in writing
  • Facilitator observation logs every session

What Your District
Gains Institutionally

Beyond the individual student, this program produces outcomes that matter at the organizational level — documented, reportable, and aligned with district priorities.

Academic Impact

Increased Classroom Participation

Students who complete the program participate more frequently and more confidently in academic settings. Verbal engagement in class discussions, presentations, and group work shows measurable improvement — documented in facilitator observation logs.

SEL Alignment

Social-Emotional Learning Standards

The program is fully aligned with social-emotional learning priorities including self-awareness, responsible decision-making, and relationship skills. Every session is structured to build SEL competencies alongside communication development.

Equity

Support for Underserved Students

The program specifically targets students who are under-participatory, overlooked, or hesitant — a population that is disproportionately underserved by existing programs. Bilingual Spanish support is available, expanding access across language barriers.

Data

Reportable Outcome Documentation

Every engagement produces a written Post-Program Outcome Summary with individual and group-level data across six tracked indicators. Your district receives documentation it can use for grant reporting, board presentations, and program evaluation.

Integration

Zero Disruption to Existing Programs

Delivery is flexible — in-class support, small group intervention, or afterschool programming. We work around your schedule. No curriculum adjustment required. No staff retraining. No competing resources.

Sustainability

A Model Built to Scale

The program is designed to grow with your district — from a single pilot cohort to a district-wide pipeline. The One-Day Intensive, Four-Week Series, and Eight-Week Track work as a continuum, moving students from first participation to leadership-level presence over time.

The Students Are Already There.
Give Them the Structure.

The outcomes above are not aspirational. They are documented. The question is not whether this works — it is whether your students will have access to it. That part starts with a single conversation.
